The tree-lined fairways are wide, and the greens are medium in size. A water hazard (pond) comes into play between holes #4 and #5, both par 5's. The signature hole is #4, which measures 392 yards and features a double dogleg fairway with thick woods on both sides. The terrain is flat and easy to walk. The front nine is more hilly than the back nine, and the average-sized greens are somewhat sloped and slow. The locals' favorite hole is #13, a 330-yard, par 4. The course is located on the Oregon border, and it earned its name from the bridge (with an Indian legend in its background) that connects the two states. This course is nestled among the rolling hills and fruit orchards of the beautiful Hood River Valley. The most outstanding features consist of three meandering creeks which come into play on eight holes, and breathtaking views of two snow-capped mountains (Mount Hood and Mount Adams). This course incorporates dogleg fairways, trees, water hazards, and white-sand bunkers in creating the perfect environment for a fun and challenging day of golf. The greens are undulating, and water comes into play on ten holes. From hole #12, you can see four mountains; Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helen's, Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Adams. One of the most difficult holes is #18, a 433-yard, par 4, requiring a downhill tee shot and an approach over the barranca that protects the green. Twilight rates are available on weekdays only.
